Amazing but true
So, after working for two months, my suits fit!!! Not only that, but I rescued some clothes tonight from the top of my closet... clothes that were lost in the "I can't wear this right now" zone. And I can wear them now! A few tops and skirts... such amazing victories. I'm down officially 15.6 lbs, but my weigh in tomorrow will probably push me up over 16. I also, while we're speaking of victories, ran on Saturday at my parent's house on the treadmill... 10 minutes at a time for 30 minutes. AT 4 MPH! Awesome... :)

With ease...
Sure, it's not easy all the time, but I can barely believe how easy this new program seems... I don't feel AT ALL deprived and I'm encouraged to eat healthful foods. And I've lost 14 lbs. in only 6 weeks. I feel better, I look better (I can already tell that my stomach is smaller, as are my love handles), and my clothes fit better! My size 18 pants are now getting too big... and I put on a pair of size 16 jeans yesterday for the first time in at least 6 months... if not longer. I LOVE this new program!

Houston, we have a problem.
So, I plan to be in Philadelphia in exactly 7 weeks and 3 days interviewing for new jobs...
However, my 2 suits that I bought for my last job search... yea... I can get them on, but they DON'T look good... at all...
so, Here's my new motivation! Fit into suits so I don't have to go to a big and FAT store to buy a new one. I can't afford it and it would be humiliating. So, let's get cracking on losing the weight.
the good news is... since I can get them on and even button them, I probably only need to lose about 10-15 lbs for them to fit nicely. So, that's about 1.5-2lbs per week for the next 7.
Tall order, but let's go.

Goal!
So, my first (of many) goal is to lose 15lbs. by the time TPE happens so I can fit into my two suits so I can get a job so I can move to Oregon. In order to do this, I need to work really hard and lose about 2 lbs. per week... for 8 weeks. I think I can do this and it is a fairly short term goal, so hopefully it will be attainable.

The fight of my life
ok... maybe a bit dramatic, but I'm working on solving many of the things in my life that are "not right" currently... one of those is working on my weight through weight watchers, but my mental health has been very shaky lately too. So, i'm going back in to get back on some medication, and I contacted my counselor to set up a time to talk to her. I just need to get a little bit of a routine, structure, around me and I'll be ok with these steps...

Weak
I was weak today... I started my period, complete with cramps and chocolate cravings... so I gave in. I had some extra points left over, so it should be ok, but I just dont' feel good today. I also had no vegetables/fruits and not enough water... maybe some routine (as much as I don't want to go back to work tomorrow) will be good for me. Water, fruit/veggies and some activity for me tomorrow.

Hungry... and a little tempted.
As we were putting away the Christmas decor tonight, I was feeling very tempted by the Christmas candy that's left over... so much good stuff that is now very costly for me to enjoy. I had a few more pieces than I intended, but then I put it away... that's the good news. I had two meals out in a row and I'm still doing pretty well with the program. And I got 3 points today just walking around town and doing housework. So, goal check for the week... this keeps me honest!
